Vegetable Storage Facility in Lipie
The facility, with a total area of over 12,000 m2, consists of a production building, a carrot storage, an onion storage, an office building, and a technical building. It is equipped with lines for washing vegetables, peeling onions, and packaging vegetables according to the requirements of supermarket chains and wholesale markets.
The packing lines have a capacity ranging from 1.5 t/h (small packages) to 5 t/h (large packages). The storage can accommodate up to 20,000 tons of vegetables.
The facility guarantees long-term storage of fresh vegetables and their constant availability on the market, without significant storage losses. Previously, according to tradition, vegetables were heaped or stored in buildings not adapted for this purpose.
