Training and Conference Center of the University of Łódź

As part of the investment, ALSTAL Construction Group renovated the building of the Training and Conference Center of the University of Łódź. The facility is located close to the center of Łódź and has as many as 12 floors.

Under the contract, ALSTAL renovated, rebuilt, and carried out thermal modernization of the 12-story building of the University of Łódź located at 16/18 Kopcińskiego Street in Łódź. The hotel facility contains 78 single and double rooms. Each room was completely renovated, resulting in new plasters, ceilings, as well as wall coverings and carpet flooring. Additionally, bathrooms were comprehensively completed, featuring modern fittings and necessary equipment.

Each room was equipped with air conditioning and mechanical ventilation, as well as telecommunication installations: television, LAN, and telephone. Throughout the building, all doors are equipped with a hotel system. On the ground floor of the facility, there are four conference rooms equipped with audio-video systems that can accommodate groups of various sizes.

As part of the building’s thermal modernization, the window joinery was replaced with a facade system, walls and floors on the ground were insulated, and additional thermal insulation was applied. LED lighting was installed in the facility, mechanical ventilation was set up, and the central heating and domestic hot water installations were modernized.

The entire facility was equipped with fire ventilation systems, fire alarm systems, and warning sound systems. Furthermore, the building has an elevator that can serve as a lift for rescue teams during a fire. The total gross area of the renovated building is 3,434.35 m², and the volume is 11,780 m³.
