Radiotherapy Center in Płock
The investment involved the construction of a modern, three-story hospital building on the premises of the Provincial Integrated Hospital in Płock. The construction was carried out under a design and build system.
The modern Radiotherapy Center consists of a day chemotherapy ward and an inpatient radiotherapy ward, which will occupy, respectively, the first and second floors of the new building. On the ground floor, there are facilities for computed tomography, magnetic resonance imaging, and bunkers with medical accelerators. A nuclear medicine laboratory with a PET/CT scanner was also established, which ensures the detection and monitoring of the course of cancer treatment.
In pursuit of eco-friendly solutions, photovoltaic installation elements were mounted on the roof of the Center. The necessary technical infrastructure was also rebuilt, including the internal road, parking lot, networks, transformer station, and all connections.
The total usable area of the investment covered 9,054.32 m2, with a volume of 37,252.81 m3. The construction lasted less than two years. The contract value amounted to just over 73 million zlotys.
