Municipal Stadium in Włocławek

As part of the investment, the stadium built in 1999 was modernized and expanded into a sports facility of high standard and intimate character, combining sports and recreational functions. The stadium serves both as a training facility and a venue for organizing various sports and cultural events.

The rebuilt stadium, in terms of organizing mass events, meets the requirements for the safety of mass events. It is equipped with an athletics arena, featuring a full-size football pitch, high jump, long jump, and pole vault facilities, shot put, discus throw, and javelin throw areas, as well as a water jump for steeplechase, along with high-class social facilities for athletes of the sports complex.

The athletics arena meets the requirements for hosting nationwide competitions thanks to the synthetic polyurethane surface of the CONIPUR 217 OXIDE RED type. All functional and sports elements of the arena for individual athletics disciplines have been adapted to the requirements of the International Association of Athletics Federations (IAAF).

The 8-lane circular track, 400 m in length, is equipped with the necessary athletics equipment and measuring devices to conduct athletics competitions of championship rank. According to the rules established by the Polish Athletics Association, the stadium has been classified as a category III A stadium. This allows for the hosting of Polish championship competitions with a full program of events.

The natural grass football pitch, measuring 100 x 68 m, is located inside the arena and meets the requirements of the II League of the Polish Football Association. The sports arena surfaces are equipped with drainage and installed irrigation systems for the pitch turf.

The stands are numerically divided into sectors. Some of them are covered (1,814 seats) and some are uncovered (3,166 seats). A fenced stand with a separate entrance has been designated for the opposing team’s fans. The total capacity of all newly designed stands is 4,980 seats.

The facility has 6 lighting masts (35 m high), on which 284 projectors with light sources (each with a power of 1,500 W) have been installed. Surrounding the stadium are parking lots with a total of 800 spaces.

The stadium was designed without architectural barriers, enabling the organization of events and sports competitions also for people with disabilities. The changing rooms are adapted for use by disabled persons, and the toilets and showers are adjusted to the needs of wheelchair users. Additionally, the building is equipped with an elevator, allowing movement throughout the facility.
