Municipal Stadium in Rzeszów

A football and speedway stadium with a capacity of 12,700 people located in the capital of the Podkarpackie Voivodeship. As part of the project, new stands, roofing, and sanitary facilities on the first level were constructed.

The construction works also included the installation of sound systems, surveillance, and an entrance bridge that connected the stands with the Avenue of Insurgents. As part of the undertaking, access roads were built on the eastern side of the stands, a pedestrian and vehicular path, a parking lot for 2,068 cars and 10 buses, as well as maneuvering areas. Ultimately, additional spectator segments will be able to be added around the field and speedway track. In total, over 800 tons of steel will be installed on the stadium stands.

The roofing consisted of 9 girders made of steel and covered with polycarbonate panels. One roof element weighed 60 tons. The installation of all girders took about 2 months. A 500-ton capacity ring crane was necessary for the assembly of the structure.
