Mszczonów Thermal Baths
The geothermal pool complex in Mszczonów is one of the most modern recreational facilities of its kind in Poland, utilizing unique, fresh thermal springs. Located 40 km from Warsaw, the Mszczonów Thermal Baths were built with the residents of central Poland in mind. The facility is supplied with water at a temperature of 30°C – 34°C, extracted from a depth of over 1,600 meters.
The Masovian complex consists of 5 pools: two year-round thermal pools, a recreational pool, a sports pool, and a children’s pool. The facility also features water slides, saunas, a salt grotto, beach volleyball courts, a playground for children, and many other attractions.
In the two year-round pools, raw geothermal water at a temperature of 42.5°C is used, sourced from Lower Cretaceous sandstone deposits at a depth of 1,714 m. In Mszczonów, it has been used for food and heating purposes for 12 years. This water is particularly rich in bicarbonates, calcium, and sodium. For the needs of the Thermal Baths, it is cooled to a temperature of 34°C. The facility can accommodate 1,800 people daily.
