Medical Simulation Center in Poznań
It is a modern, three-story training building. It houses an intensive care unit, a delivery and operating room, an ambulance, various types of simulators, and professional equipment for future doctors.
The Medical Simulation Center occupies three floors of a six-story building. Students improve their skills and enhance their knowledge in fully equipped medical offices and hospital rooms. All laboratories are equipped with audio-video equipment with archiving capabilities.
The equipment in the building on Rokietnicka Street includes 8 adult simulators, 6 ASL simulators that replicate the respiratory system, an advanced simulator capable of exhaling CO2, as well as 10 nursing simulators, 3 pediatric, and 3 neonatal simulators.
The Center’s task is to replicate as faithfully as possible the conditions in which future doctors, nurses, and midwives work and learn. The facility also has a technical skills learning lab, a clinical skills laboratory teaching room, and a surgical skills training room. Didactic classes are also held in the Adam Wrzosek building.
