Kosmos Housing Estate in Wrocław
The “Nowe Żerniki to KOSMOS” housing estate will stand out thanks to its unique spatial layout and architectural form. The eastern façade of the building will be characterized by a dynamically designed wall featuring an impressively tall entrance gate, as well as expressive balconies and loggias, which will contrast with the horizontal northern façade equipped with galleries. Two entrance gates will connect the estate’s pedestrian routes with semi-public spaces, fostering resident integration and the creation of local communities. The project reflects the highest standards of quality and attention to detail, offering residents exceptional aesthetics and durability.
One of the key elements of the project is the promotion of pro-environmental solutions and support for building local communities. On the terrace of the model housing estate, the spaces between private gardens, playgrounds, and low and high greenery will be filled with geometric plots featuring grasses, herbs, trees, and residents’ plantings. This will contribute to increased biodiversity and improved air quality. The residential building, shaped like the letter “L”, will consist of three sections with a maximum of 13 above-ground floors. Two underground levels and part of the ground floor will form a garage and technical area topped with a green terrace. This solution allows for efficient use of space while maintaining high standards of aesthetics and ecology.
The “Nowe Żerniki to KOSMOS” project also includes measures aimed at environmental protection. As part of the investment, a biological bridge will be constructed to connect the Nowe Żerniki estate with the recreational areas of the Clay Ponds. This footbridge will be intended for pedestrians and cyclists, enabling safe movement between these areas. The bridge will become a symbol of the project’s pro-ecological approach, promoting active leisure and closeness to nature.
