Kamienna 28 in Gdańsk
Kamienna 28 in Gdańsk is a complex created within a historic former factory, complemented on the side of Jałmużnicza Street by a modern building. The property is located on the banks of the New Motława River, near the Toruński Bridge, opposite the Granary Island. This is a highly attractive location — the complex is situated just a 15-minute walk from the historic heart of Gdańsk.
As part of the investment, the former factory building will be revitalized. In addition, a new building will be constructed on the side of Jałmużnicza Street. The post-industrial part will offer as many as 33 luxury loft apartments, while the newly built structure will house 32 modern studio units with areas ranging from 24 to 53 m².
In addition to its exceptional location, the ground-floor properties in the revitalized section will be distinguished by features such as high, four-meter ceilings, mezzanines, and two-meter-high windows. On the top floor, residents will be able to enjoy viewing terraces overlooking the boulevards. The revitalized building will stand out with unique windows featuring steel finishes and arched tops. A glass connector will be constructed between the buildings.
Before the war, Kamienna Grobla Street was home to, among others, locksmith workshops, upholstery workshops, and carpentry shops. After the war, the building housed a book warehouse, and until 2016 it was occupied by the Batycki Factory, producing leather goods and jewelry.
The investor of the project is the Warsaw-based development company ACCIONA, which together with ALSTAL is also implementing the Zbożowa Housing Estate project in nearby Gdynia.
