Imaging Diagnostics Center in Gdańsk
For ALSTAL Construction Group, this was another investment in Pomerania carried out for COPERNICUS PL. The Imaging Diagnostics Center in Gdańsk is the only facility in the northern part of Poland equipped with specialized Gamma Knife equipment used for treating brain tumors.
The four-story building houses, among others, the only Gamma Knife Center in Pomerania, which offers the least invasive treatment for oncological diseases within the head area. A Computed Tomography Laboratory and X-ray laboratories capable of performing 3D imaging were also established.
In the underground part of the complex, technical rooms, changing rooms, and a connector were located, linking the Center with the main part of the Mikołaj Kopernik Hospital, including the emergency department and operating rooms.
On the ground floor, angiography and magnetic resonance imaging laboratories were designed. One floor above, there are X-rays, a computed tomography scanner, and an ultrasound laboratory. On the top, second floor, medical offices and a social area were created.
The newly established facility is an independent Center, serving as a healthcare service provider for both external patients and hospital patients treated at the COPERNICUS Hospital Medical Entity Ltd.
