Biobank of the University of Łódź
As part of the investment ALSTAL Construction Group has built a building for the Biobank of the Faculty of Biology and Environmental Protection of the University of Łódź.
The scope of work included the construction of a facility with a total area of 410.69 m2 and a volume of 2831.69 m3. The modern building includes, among others, a server room, laboratory, and scientific research laboratories along with a biological material collection point. Additionally, the building houses office and social rooms.
The northern part of the building was constructed using a facade system along with a decorative frame in a ventilated facade system.
The building was equipped with mechanical and fire ventilation, as well as air conditioning. Parking spaces and green areas with plantings were created around the new facility. Construction work lasted one year.
