Amphitheater in Gorzów Wielkopolski.
The amphitheater was built in the years 1973-1974 as part of a community effort by employees of the Gorzów Industrial Construction Enterprise. It is an extremely picturesque structure, integrated into the greenery of H. Siemiradzki Park. ALSTAL Construction Group carried out a thorough reconstruction of the facility and the accompanying infrastructure.
The work included the reconstruction of the entire stage with an area of 360 m2, enlarged by a section for the orchestra. The stage was covered with a roof that extends over the first rows of the audience.
The covering of the enlarged stage and seating for nearly 4,600 people is made of exotic wood. The impractical director’s building disappeared, and the public restrooms were located in the pylons near the main building.
The technical facilities provide artists with comfortably equipped dressing rooms with bathrooms. The facility is free of architectural barriers.
The Gorzów amphitheater also gained guest rooms and a restaurant, which operates also outside the season.
